Dear MCC Students:
Thank you for joining our community of students, faculty, and staff as we embark on our 81st year educating students from the Queen City and beyond. Founded as a trade school for returning Veterans in 1945, MCC has built our history and core programs to become the comprehensive community college you attend today.
Whichever program you study, whether you are enrolled part-time or full-time, I hope you will embrace the opportunities Manchester Community College has to offer. The college is committed to the educational dream attainment of every one of our students and provides both supports to students and encourages momentum to credential completion.
Please reach out to MCC faculty and advisors early on if you have questions about class material, deadlines, or policies. Connection and communication are important as you navigate new situations. You'll find tutors online and in person in the Learning Commons, where you'll also find various study areas and even a family study space where children are welcome. While the bookstore is fully online, you can visit the Learning Commons if you need help activating digital codes for course materials.
Our offices are available in person and remotely, so stop by the Welcome Center if you have questions about your bill or registering for classes. You can email or "chat" with the bursar, financial aid, or registrar online. MCC's food pantry, "My Campus Cupboard" is in Room 117 of the main building. Feel free to visit for snacks or groceries as needed when the campus is open.
Please also be sure to connect with your fellow classmates, both in the classroom and through student life activities. There are dozens of student clubs and leadership opportunities, which you can learn more about at the Club Fair held each semester.
Thank you again for choosing MCC as part of your educational journey. I look forward to meeting you and supporting your success.
Gratefully yours,
