Course Description
ENGL113M - Introduction to Public Speaking This course prepares students to effectively communicate with audiences in academic, workplace and community settings by providing instruction and experience in formal speech preparation and delivery. Students will learn to analyze speaking situations and adapt messages for audience, purpose, and context. Topic selection, relevant sources of support, structure, organization, and delivery are emphasized. (Fulfills English or Humanities requirement.)
