AUTO1023M - Automotive Co-op Work Experience II Auto The Automotive co-op work experience provides an opportunity for practical experience at an approved site. It is a required component of the degree program and students are required to work a minimum of 320 hours. Periodic supervisor evaluations based on performance and other criteria related to successful employment will be completed and reviewed by the co-op coordinator and site supervisor, and will be the basis for the final grade. AUTO1023M is a spring semester course. Tools identified on the student tool list are required at the co-op site. A minimum grade of C is required to continue on to AUTO1031M, AUTO1032M, and AUTO1033M.

ETEC220M - Commercial and Low Voltage Building Systems This course presents information on the theory of operation, applications, and installation practices for low voltage and communications systems typically installed in buildings. These include audio, video, security, telephone, fire alarm, computer networking, and wireless systems. The National Electrical Code will be referenced throughout this course as it applies to the subject matter. ECE201M - Children's Individual and Special Needs The course will focus on the unique characteristics of young children with disabilities, delays, and/or risks and their families, including communication disorders, sensory impairments, physical and health related disabilities, child abuse, stress, and trauma. Room arrangement plans, accommodations and modifications based on unique learning characteristics will be explored. Screening, assessment, early intervention, individual education plans, inclusive education, community resources and family issues will also be presented and discussed.
