PHYS135M - College Physics I This course is an introduction to the basic principles of Newtonian mechanics with emphasis on the application of these principles. Topics to be covered include kinematics of motion, vectors, Newton's laws, friction, work-energy, impulse-momentum for both translational and rotational motion, and the mechanical properties of matter. It is a practical course that provides a comprehensive study of the basics and application of Commercial Driving, with a focus on the required theory curriculum of safe, legal, and professional operation of Class A Commercial Motor Vehicles for which commercial licensure is a prerequisite.
